Directions from the South of England

Leave the Motorway at Junction 31A (Longridge & Industrial Estates) Follow the signs for Longridge. Join B6243 to Longridge.
Whitewell (or Trough of Bowland) signs are clearly marked from the centre of Longridge. Or from the A6 north of Preston, take the B5269 from Broughton into Longridge then pick up the signs for Whitewell.
At the Inn at Whitewell, go up the steep hill opposite the Inn, after about 2 miles take the left turn to Newton. Proceed for 1 mile and when you drop down a steep hill, Crimpton Farm is on the left at the bottom of the hill. (This is the best route from Blackpool, Fleetwood, etc.)

Directions from the North of England

Leave the M6 at Junction 33 (Preston/Garstang)
Turn left towards Garstand
Watch for left turning signposted Abbeystead/Trough of Bowland
Follow this scenic route for approvimately 15 miles picking up signs for Whitewell.
At the Inn at Whitewell, go up the steep hill opposite the Inn, after about 2 miles, take the left turn to Newton. Proceed for 1 mile and when you drop down a steep hill, Crimpton Farm is on the left at the bottom of the hill

Directions from Manchester
Turn onto the M66 from Manchester
Bypass Accrington, following signs for Clitheroe (A56). The A56 goes under the M65 at Junction 8 and meets the A671.
Turn left and go through Read following the signs for Whalley.
Drop down into Whalley and at the mini roundabout in the centre, turn right. The second road on the left (after about 150 yards) is signposted Whitewell and Mitton.
Proceed across the birdge at Mitton and onto a T junction. Turn right and follow signs for Whitewell and Trough of Bowland.
You will pass a pub on your left ‘Red Pump’ and later on the right ‘Browsholme Hall’. Drop into a hollow over a small bridge and rise throuigh left hand bend to a telephone kiosk on the left.
Turn right to Whitewell over Hall Hill and after 150 yards, turn right again to Newton.
Proceed for 1 mile and when you drop down a steep hill, Crimpton Farm is on the left at the bottom of the hill.
